Curated Moments Co. LLC, doing business as Curated Moments Co., respects the privacy of its customers, event clients, inquiry contacts, and website visitors. This policy explains how Curated Moments collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains personal information.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Curated Moments, we may collect:

Your name, email address, optional mobile phone number (including your consent if you choose to receive order updates by text message; see our SMS Terms), shipping address, billing information, and delivery details.
Products ordered, customization choices, order amounts, payment status, transaction identifiers, shipping status, and customer-service history.
Photographs, artwork, logos, text, crop settings, editing choices, QR destinations, and other content you provide for a custom product.
Event, business, Reveal Collection, or quantity-order details provided through an inquiry.
Files attached to an inquiry, including photographs, artwork, and PDF documents.
Event-gallery photographs and access information.
Your optional marketing preferences.
Standard connection, browser, device, security, and server-log information used to operate and protect the website.
Information provided by an event host or another person authorized to arrange services on your behalf.

Please do not provide information that is not reasonably necessary for your order, inquiry, project, or requested service.

How we use information

Curated Moments may use personal information to:

Operate the website, cart, designer, inquiry system, and ordering services.
Create, review, produce, package, deliver, and support products.
Process payments, refunds, cancellations, and order adjustments.
Communicate about orders, projects, inquiries, event galleries, shipping, and customer-service matters, including by text message about an order if you opt in (see our SMS Terms).
Provide quotes and plan events, business projects, and Reveal Collection services.
Maintain transaction, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal records.
Protect the website, customers, Curated Moments, and others from fraud, misuse, unsafe content, and security threats.
Enforce agreements and comply with applicable law.
Send optional promotional communications when separately authorized.

Curated Moments does not use customer photographs, artwork, order attachments, inquiry attachments, or event-gallery images for advertising, social media, portfolios, samples, or other promotional purposes without separate permission.

Promotional permission is not a condition of purchase or service.

Custom-design drafts and uploads

While you edit a custom magnet, your photograph and design settings are saved in your browser on that device.

When you select Add to cart, the photograph is uploaded to private storage so the design can be connected to your cart and produced if purchased. Adding a design to the cart does not place an order or charge you. The order is submitted and payment is initiated only when you proceed through checkout.

Clearing your browser's stored information, blocking browser storage, or using another device may remove or prevent access to your saved draft.

Payments

Payment is completed through Square's secure checkout. Square's privacy terms govern payment information entered directly into its service.

Curated Moments receives payment confirmation, transaction identifiers, amounts, and payment-status information needed to fulfill and support an order. Curated Moments does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

When information may be shared

Curated Moments may share only the information reasonably necessary with:

Payment and fraud-prevention providers.
Cloud hosting, private storage, website infrastructure, security, email, and other technical service providers.
Shipping carriers and delivery providers.
Contractors or production partners assisting with an order or project.
Accountants, insurers, attorneys, and other professional advisers.
Government authorities or other parties when required by law, necessary to protect legal rights, or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, misuse, or harm.
A successor organization in connection with a merger, sale, reorganization, financing, or transfer of relevant business assets.

Service providers may use the information only to perform services for Curated Moments or meet their legal obligations. Not every provider receives every category of information.

Curated Moments does not sell or rent personal information. Curated Moments does not share personal information for third-party targeted advertising. Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

Event galleries

For an onsite magnet experience that includes an online gallery, Curated Moments emails the event host a private gallery link and the access code requested by the client.

The host controls who receives the link and code. Anyone given both may be able to view or download the gallery. The host should not post the access information publicly.

The host is responsible for providing required notices and obtaining required permissions from guests, including permission from a parent or guardian for people under 18. Curated Moments will assist with guest permissions only when that responsibility is specifically included in the event agreement.

Gallery access ends after 30 calendar days following the event, and the gallery photographs are then scheduled for deletion.

Curated Moments is not responsible for copies downloaded or redistributed by people whom the host or its recipients allowed to access the gallery.

Gallery photographs are not used for advertising, social media, portfolios, or samples without separate permission.

Cookies and browser storage

The website uses a necessary first-party cookie to remember your shopping cart. The cookie contains a cart identifier rather than your personal details.

The custom-magnet designer uses browser storage to retain the current draft on your device.

Curated Moments does not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, cross-site behavioral advertising, or analytics cookies.

Because the cart cookie is necessary for the cart to function, it cannot be disabled through a site preference while using the cart. Your browser may allow you to block or clear cookies and stored information, but doing so may empty your cart or remove a saved design.

If Curated Moments introduces optional analytics, advertising, or tracking technology later, this policy and any legally required consent controls will be updated before that technology is activated.

Information retention

Curated Moments retains different types of information for different periods:

An unfinished custom-design draft remains in your browser until you replace it or clear the site's stored information.
A photograph uploaded to a cart that never becomes an order is scheduled for deletion from private storage within 30 days after the cart's last activity.
A photograph or artwork file connected to a completed order is retained until 60 days after delivery or until any related customer-service problem, refund, chargeback, insurance claim, or legal issue is resolved, whichever is later.
Production files are then scheduled for deletion unless the customer separately asks Curated Moments to retain them for a future reorder.
An inquiry attachment uploaded but never submitted expires after seven days.
An inquiry that does not become an order or project, including its submitted attachments, is generally retained for two years after the last communication.
Order, payment, refund, shipping, tax, and related customer-service records are generally retained for seven years.
Security and technical logs are generally retained for up to 12 months.
Marketing-consent records are retained while the person remains subscribed. A limited suppression record may be retained afterward to honor an unsubscribe request.
Event-gallery photographs follow the 30-day schedule described above.

Records may be retained longer when required by applicable IRS, Arizona, or other legal requirements, or when reasonably necessary for a tax matter, fraud investigation, chargeback, dispute, insurance claim, legal hold, or enforcement of an agreement.

A customer may request earlier deletion of an eligible production file after fulfillment. Curated Moments may retain records that it is legally permitted or required to keep.

Security

Curated Moments uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information it handles.

Customer photographs and inquiry attachments are stored privately and are made available only through controlled access needed for fulfillment, support, security, or another approved business purpose. Access is limited to Curated Moments personnel and service providers who need the information for their work.

Uploaded files may be automatically checked for file type, size, readability, malware, or other technical and security concerns. Curated Moments does not use facial recognition, biometric identification, or automated profiling on customer photographs.

No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a qualifying data breach occurs, Curated Moments will investigate and provide notices required by applicable law.

Customers and event hosts are responsible for protecting gallery links and access codes after receiving them.

Children and photographs of minors

The website and ordering services are intended for adults. A purchaser or person submitting an inquiry must be at least 18 years old or the legal age required to enter a contract.

Curated Moments does not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13.

An adult may provide a photograph containing a person under 18 only when the adult has the legal right and any required parent or guardian permission to do so.

If Curated Moments learns that personal information was submitted directly by a child under 13 without legally valid parental consent, Curated Moments may delete the information and associated content.

A parent or guardian may contact info@curatedmomentsco.com about suspected collection from a child.

Communications and marketing

Order confirmations, receipts, production questions, shipping notices, gallery access details, inquiry responses, safety notices, and policy-related messages are service communications. Curated Moments may send these messages when necessary to complete or support a transaction or requested service.

Promotional emails require separate, optional consent. The marketing option will not be preselected and is not required to place an order or submit an inquiry.

Promotional emails will include a working unsubscribe method. Curated Moments may retain a limited suppression record after an unsubscribe so the person is not accidentally added again.

Curated Moments will not send promotional text messages without separate, legally sufficient consent.

Privacy requests

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

Curated Moments will honor verified privacy requests only to the extent required by applicable law. Requests may be sent to info@curatedmomentsco.com.

Curated Moments may request information needed to verify your identity. A request may be limited or denied when permitted or required by law, including when information must be retained for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, chargeback, safety, legal, or dispute purposes, or when disclosure would affect another person's privacy or rights.

This policy does not create rights beyond those provided by applicable law.

External websites

The website may link to independent websites, including payment checkout, event information, shipping services, social platforms, and customer-selected QR destinations.

Once you follow an external link, that third party's privacy practices apply. Curated Moments does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, or content of independent third-party websites.

Curated Moments remains responsible for its own selection and appropriate use of service providers operating on its behalf.

Processing in the United States

Curated Moments Co. LLC is based in Fountain Hills, Arizona. The website, ordering services, and business records are operated and processed in the United States.

If you access the site or arrange an order from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

The website is primarily intended for United States customers. Orders outside the standard shipping area must be arranged with Curated Moments in advance. Curated Moments will honor any nonwaivable rights required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

Curated Moments may update this policy when its services, providers, legal obligations, or information practices change. The updated policy will be posted with a revised date. Material notice will be provided when required by law.

An update will not be used to expand the use of previously collected photographs or personal information in a materially different way without any notice or consent required by law.

Separate order terms, event agreements, and project agreements may contain additional privacy provisions. If there is a conflict, the more specific agreement governs the related service, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
